See-through Shorts!

That title is so much catchier than Transparent Short URLs.

Whether you dislike short URLs or you’re willing to live with them, there’s no denying that they add a layer of opaque uncertainty to web navigation.

The most recent MashLogic update brings much-needed transparency to links (short or otherwise) so you can Look before you Click. When you mouse over hyperlinks, we tell you where that link will take you, along with the title of the destination page and a short description of the target site.

The new & improved Link Information mash will tell you if the site is slow or contains adult content. And if the link has been flagged as unsafe we’ll give you ample warning.

In the latest update, we’ve also make our callouts (pop-ups) draggable, using the top bar of the callout. You can change the style of MashLogic links (Configure -> Options). Along with improvements in performance and precision, this release announcement marks another milestone in bad puns from MashLogic.
